Capturing Items with YadaList
How do I add an item? Take photos of the item (phone or desktop), optionally add a voice note describing anything the camera can't see, and hit submit. That's it — the goal is under 10 seconds per item.
How many photos should I take? At least one, but more photos give the AI better context. Front, back, any labels/tags, and any defects are ideal. The AI evaluates image quality and uses everything you provide.
What's the voice note for? Anything you know that photos can't convey — "missing the dust jacket," "smells like a garage," "limited edition from 2003." The AI incorporates your spoken context into the listing.
Do I have to fill in any fields during capture? No. Zero required fields at capture time. You photograph, optionally speak, and move on. Everything else happens in the background.
